Over the winter and spring we changed the rear end gearing from 2.75:1 to a taller 2.47:1 in the Ford 9″ to let the 700hp of the 304.8ci powerplant stretch its legs on the long course. Goal 3 – the ultimate goal for 2021 – was to run 200+! We had come up just short running 174+ the year before.
